Identifying Challenges

Key Problems We Must Address

These challenges reduce the long-term impact of support programmes and make timely rehabilitation difficult for vulnerable communities.

Poor Maintenance and Follow-up Services

Even when devices are distributed, beneficiaries face difficulties in maintenance, calibration, or follow-up services, reducing the long-term impact and usability of assistive tools.

Lack of Early Identification and Intervention:

Delayed diagnosis of hearing and speech disorders leads to missed early intervention windows, critically affecting the child's cognitive, linguistic, and social development potential.

Limited Access to Rehabilitation Services:

Many children with speech and hearing disabilities in rural and underserved areas lack access to specialized speech therapy and audiological care due to infrastructure and manpower shortages.

Social Stigma and Exclusion:

Persons with disabilities continue to face social isolation, discrimination, and lack of community support, further limiting their access to education, employment, and rehabilitation services.

Our Solution

Training and Capacity Building: Facilitate training for local volunteers, caregivers, and teachers on handling speech and hearing aids, basic rehabilitation practices, and inclusive behavior.

Distribution of Assistive Devices:

Distribute essential assistive devices like wheelchairs, crutches, walkers, and tricycles to persons with physical disabilities, enabling improved mobility and independence.

Empowerment and Inclusion Programs

Promote inclusion through recreational, cultural, and skill-building activities tailored for children and adults with disabilities to enhance confidence and social participation.

Post-Distribution Support and Maintenance:

Provide follow-up services, maintenance assistance, and device repair for hearing aids and mobility tools to ensure long-term usability and impact.
